Sarracenia ‘Maroon’ – Deep Burgundy Trumpet Pitcher Plant

Sarracenia ‘Maroon’ is a richly colored cultivar prized for its dark, saturated burgundy pitchers that deepen in color with full sun exposure. The upright traps, typically 12 to 20 inches tall, bring dramatic contrast to bog gardens or carnivorous plant collections. Its elegant, symmetrical form and intense pigmentation make it a standout among hardy pitcher plants.

This temperate hybrid is easy to grow, highly rewarding, and forms clumps over time. It thrives in full sun, wet conditions, and nutrient-poor soil, and like all hardy Sarracenia, it requires a winter dormancy to thrive long-term.
