Pinguicula ‘Aphrodite’ is a vigorous Mexican butterwort hybrid known for its long, elegant leaves, generous size, and beautiful pink to violet blooms. This carnivorous houseplant forms a graceful rosette of sticky leaves that naturally catch small insects like fungus gnats, making it both attractive and useful.

Compared with many smaller butterworts, ‘Aphrodite’ can develop into a larger, showier plant under good growing conditions. Bright light often brings out soft pink tones in the foliage, while mature plants may bloom repeatedly with delicate, orchid-like flowers. It is considered a strong, easy-growing hybrid and a great choice for both newer and experienced Pinguicula growers.
