Louisiana Iris ‘Vivacious Veins’ offers a lively combination of peach, yellow, pink, and burnt orange, all brought together by dramatic veining. Peach standards are traced with tan veins and finished with irregularly serrated edges, while yellow falls are heavily washed in pink and burnt orange. Deep burnt-orange veins radiate from a diffuse yellow thumbprint, joined by a red-brown streak and green-yellow spear-shaped signal for an especially intricate center.
Registered by Brian Shamblin in 2025, ‘Vivacious Veins’ grows approximately 33 inches tall and flowers from midseason into the later portion of the Louisiana iris bloom season. It was produced from a cross of ‘Venus Vortex’ and ‘Rooster.’
