Louisiana Iris Rose Reflection

Louisiana Iris ‘Rose Reflection’ offers warm, romantic coloring paired with beautifully intricate details. Cream-pink standards are softly veined and washed with deeper pink, while yellow falls are heavily overlaid, stippled, and veined in rich rose-pink. A yellow thumbprint, split spear-shaped signal, and deep rose-red accent add definition to the center of each flower.

Registered by Brian Shamblin in 2026, ‘Rose Reflection’ reaches approximately 36 inches tall and flowers during the late-middle portion of the Louisiana iris season. Its refined coloring makes it an elegant addition to rain gardens, pond edges, moist perennial borders, and containers. It is a seedling of ‘Marie Amiée’ crossed with ‘Rooster.’

Louisiana irises thrive in fertile soil rich in organic matter and can be grown in traditional garden beds, containers, rain gardens, bog gardens, or along the shallow edges of ponds. They do not require standing water, but the soil should not be allowed to dry out once active growth begins.
