Hardy Goji Berry / Wolfberry
Grow your own goji berries at home with Lycium barbarum, a hardy, easy-care fruiting shrub also known as goji berry or wolfberry. This deciduous shrub produces small purple flowers followed by bright red berries that can be enjoyed fresh, dried, frozen, or added to smoothies, teas, and snacks.
Goji berry is a great choice for edible landscapes, fruit gardens, sunny borders, and large containers. Plants grow best in full sun to part sun with well-drained soil and can be trained, staked, or pruned to maintain a more compact shape. Once established, goji is generally tough, adaptable, and productive with minimal fuss.
