Drosera capensis, commonly known as the Cape Sundew, is a popular and easy-to-grow tropical carnivorous plant native to South Africa. Renowned for its slender, elongated leaves covered with glistening sticky tentacles, it efficiently traps and digests flying insects, making it a fascinating addition to any collection.
This variety typically grows 6 to 12 inches tall with a similar spread, forming graceful rosettes of narrow, lance-shaped leaves. It thrives in warm, humid conditions year-round, classifying it as a tropical sundew.
