Dionaea ‘King Henry’ – Giant Venus Flytrap
If size matters in your carnivorous plant collection, ‘King Henry’ reigns supreme. This cultivar of Dionaea muscipula is famous for producing some of the largest traps of any Venus flytrap, with individual traps reaching up to 1.75 inches long under ideal conditions. It’s a vigorous grower with a commanding presence—perfect for beginners and collectors alike.
‘King Henry’ displays a classic green coloration with red trap interiors that intensify in bright light. It grows upright in spring and summer before going low and compact during dormancy.
