Colocasia ‘Tea Cup’ – Upright Elegance with a Twist
Colocasia ‘Tea Cup’ is a unique and eye-catching elephant ear variety, named for the way its glossy green leaves cup upward like a teacup. This unusual posture creates a sculptural look and allows rainwater to collect in the center of each leaf, often trickling dramatically down the dark purple-black stems. It’s a standout in water gardens, containers, or anywhere bold structure is desired.
At maturity, ‘Tea Cup’ typically grows 48 to 60 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide, with its upright growth habit adding vertical interest to beds or patio displays.
