Colocasia ‘Coffee Cups’ is a striking elephant ear variety known for its deeply cupped, dark purple-green leaves that hold rainwater like little bowls before tipping to pour it out—just like a coffee cup. Stems are a rich burgundy-black, creating a dramatic contrast against the foliage. This variety grows upright, adding height and architectural interest to containers, pond edges, or tropical garden plantings.

Plants can reach 36–48 inches tall and prefer consistently moist to wet soil. They thrive in full sun to part shade and will be most vibrant with warm temperatures and regular water.
